Fajr Int'l film market to host 40-plus companies

More than 42 Iranian and international film companies are to participate at IFM for Fajr International Filmfest.

Mehdi Yadegari, head of the IFM ( Iranian International Market for Films and TV Programs) told local media that among 42 companies, many are Iranians because the event's focus is on selling Iranian films.

This year, international version of the Fajr Film Festival starts in the Iranian capital city of Tehran on April 19, lasting till April 27.

The Fajr International Film Festival is held by the Farabi Cinema Foundation under the auspices of Iran Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry .

This is while, the domestic version of the Fajr Film Festival came to an end on February 11, with the announcement of winners from Iran.
